Nrithyodaya prides itself of having celebrated its silver jubilee as a 3-day “Rajata Mahotsav” of lecture demonstrations and concerts in the year 2001, in Mumbai in the august presence of great Natyacharyas and eminent artistes and connoisseurs.

Nrithyodaya, embarks on its Ruby Jubilee celebrations with the MAANIKYA MAHOTSAVA, for completion of forty years in the service of the arts. The main aim of this celebration is an endeavour to make traditional art forms more relatable and relevant for the current generation. This yearlong celebration was marked with a number of events keeping in mind the ideas of Ignite, Infuse and Liberate, finally giving the audience an awe-inspiring experience.

With one event each month including workshops, seminars, lecture demonstrations and dance programs, Nrithyodaya has tried to include one and all from young dancers, youth and the experts in various fields of art to re-root and re-infuse the glory of our arts forms. There were many events like the Dance Drama Festival, Workshop on Make-up and Hair-do Techniques for dance, Screening of archival films on renowned dancers, Workshop on Yoga, Lecture Demonstration on Synergy of Naada & Nritta, Children’s Workshop on Dashavatara, "Acharyarin Tiruvadiye Sharanam" - A dedication to Sri Ramanujacharya commemorating the 1000th year of his advent, Workshop on Sattriya - The classicial dance of Assam, Dvandva Festival “Nayaka Nayika – The power of a pair”, etc. to name a few.
